Go Spelunking

Layne calls visiting Mammoth Cave “a religious experience,” elaborating that it’s the largest cave system in the world offering hundreds of miles of underground (and above ground) trails. “Everything from casual, tourist-friendly tours through beautiful underground features to advanced, extremely difficult all-day crawls through some very tight spaces. It is in a dry county and alcohol is not permitted on the park, but it is very large and there is lots of privacy. I have enjoyed many picnics and many great beers there. So best advice is to keep it out of sight.”
