Moose Drool Brown Ale is far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana. A mix of all we love best in British and American brown ales, Moose Drool is brewed with pale, crystal, chocolate and whole black malts then balanced with East Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops.

Here’s a beer to salivate over. Handsome deep brown with ruby highlights, the tan head stands as tall as a Montana mountain. A fruity nose, plenty of malt on the palate and nice balance make this a delicious beer for flavorful foods like venison with lingonberry sauce, charred chucker, carrot and onion pot pie or especially freshly caught trout, poached in Moose Drool and served with sautéed mushrooms.

  • Charlie Papazian

Sunset red-brown with a thick sounding pour as “ta-da” foam shimmers atop. Nutty, earthy and roast aromatic notes. Medium bodied and slight roast malt acidity refresh. Cocoa notes engage rendering hop character in the background. ABV is relatively low, yet Moose Drool offers compelling satisfaction.

Compelling satisfaction?? What in heck is that? Serve with venison and lingonberry sauce? What’s a lingonberry? How about a real review that people not into haute cuisine can appreciate and understand. ASTMO mean anything anymore?
