The color of a bright, copper penny with a fluffy, cloud-like head that coats the glass with lace as it slowly dissipates. Clean, fresh, herbaceous, nose balances beautifully with the slightly fruity, almost sweet flavor of the beer. With a name like Hop Juice, I expected something over the top, but it is not. Hoppy, yes. But with balance and finesse that begs for appropriate food like local tandoori prawns with Vindaloo sauce and raita with fresh organic cucumbers seasoned with dill and served with onion kulcha.

Seemingly dosed with―exactly as its name implies―freshly squeezed hop juice. Another bombshell in this flight of four beers―it’s traumatically hoppy. There’s nothing at all banal about this brew. Malt and balance? I can’t find it. I’m in the weeds and the weeds are hops. I’ll solemnly bless this brew as one for those deliriously seeking hops. Whhhhwow (still! smacking my palate)!
