This Smoked Baltic Porter from Great Divide Brewing Co. pours coffee black with a thin head that quickly dissipates. Roasted malt notes with hints of rusted penny, bitter coffee and chocolate. A silky entry with medium body and a dry finish. The Bamberg smoked malt addition is understated which suits me well. I would have been even better suited to enjoy this beer had I some smoked gouda cheese to pair with it. Lesson learned.
