Fire Island Beer Company emerged from the handiwork of two brothers and a cousin who developed their taste for craft beer and home brewing during the summers they spent on Fire Island, the naturally beautiful barrier island just off Long Island’s south shore. Their mission is to create world-class approachable craft beers that are inspired by the character and experience of Fire Island. They are all about good times and great beer… and this is just the beginning.

  • Roger Protz

Pale bronze color with an aroma of freshly harvested grain, spicy hop resins, and a hint of caramel and butterscotch. Rich malt in the mouth is balanced by a gentle but persistent floral hop bitterness and a growing note of caramel. Bitter hops build in the finish, competing with biscuity malt and the continuing caramel/butterscotch note.

  • Garrett Oliver

The beer pours a hazy amber color and raises a thin tan head. The aroma is distinctly autumnal, a blend of malt, honey, bread and sherry. Moderate bitterness is focused in the center of the tongue, balanced against a dry malty center. Hints of caramel linger in the finish. No bells and whistles here, but a pleasant enough British-style pale ale, perfectly nice with a good backyard burger.
