Creative yin and yang design on label features contrasting malts circled with hops. Slightly turbid pale golden ale with a bright white, cloud-like head. Subtle floral aroma is engaging. The flavor is fresh; pleasantly tart, like a Granny Smith apple; with a short finish. A good summer refresher, I would serve it garnished with fresh fruit, perhaps strawberries or even a slice of melon. We enjoyed it “au natural” with a salad of wild greens coated with a lemon tarragon dressing.

Yellow gold with wispy white head, lean haze. Inviting aroma. A gifted pale German-style ale that gracefully refreshes the palate with no uncertainty. A great example of a style that is often overdone with too much hops or malt. This one is a perfect session, dinner, lunch and warm weather beer. Though I’d reach for it any season. Skillfully done.
