97 Goudenband, Liefmans Brewery (Belgium). 8% ABV (5/07)
Deep mahogany color. Dried brambly berry, caramel and nutty oak aromas; supple, velvety, frothy entry, dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with rich tangy malt, dried berry and spice flavors. Long, brandy-like finish. Wonderfully fruity, wine-like and refreshing. Try with coq au vin.
