To mark the 65th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands, the Dutch Embassy commission Canada’s Beau’s All Natural Brewing Co. to brew a beer in honor of this date. The beer, a Belgian-style wit, was made using ingredients that represents both countries: juniper beers from the Netherlands and organic maple syrup from Canada. Vrienden is Dutch for “friends.”
