Jailhouse Brewing Launches Prison Camp Pils at Taco Mac

Posted June 26, 2012 by Win Bassett

(Hampton, GA) – This Tuesday, Jailhouse Brewing Company will launch their newest craft beer, Prison Camp Pils, at Taco Mac Metropolis in Atlanta. The Pils is the first of the Inmate Hooch series which is entirelyemployee-brewed with no assistance from owner and head brewer, Glenn Golden.

“The Pilsner was brewed 100% by my employees. It is their beer and turned out great. I’m proud of what they put together,” states owner Glenn Golden. “Metropolis will be a great location to release it.” The launch will begin at six o’clock on June 26.

Known for their fun, Jailhouse-themed descriptions, the Prison Camp Pils story begins “While the Warden was out on the links, the inmates broke out of their cells and into the brew house. They framed up a recipe for an American Pilsner: crisp, clean and inviting.” The Pils is 5.5% ABV by volume with 25 IBUs.
