Samuel Smith’s Release Yorkshire Stingo

Posted July 13, 2010 by Greg Barbera

Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery, along with importers Merchant du Vin, have announced the release of Yorkshire Stingo. The beer is a barrel-aged, bottle-conditioned strong ale annually released each year around Yorkshire Day. Toffee, raisin, dried fruit and caramel meld with oak notes. The bottle-conditioning softens the carbonation and gives it a smooth finish. It is 9 percent ABV, aged over a year and extremely limited.
