St-Feuillien Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale originating in the fertile land of southern Belgium.

ABV: 6.5
ABW: 5.2
Color: 18
Bitterness: 26
Original gravity: 1059

This 6.5% Belgian saison has a hazy gold color and an enormous fluffy head of foam. The aroma is tempting, with cinnamon and cloves, sweet malt and tangy hop resins. Creamy malt, bitter hops and spices build in the mouth followed by a long and quenching finish that has juicy malt, spices and tart hops. A sipping beer and a good companion for mussels or Flemish stew.
- Roger Protz
The deep gold beer trends into orange, raising a rocky white head. It dissipates quickly. The nose fascinates—various citrus peels, hops, a whiff of aniseed, a suggestion of cinnamon. The bitterness is brassy up front but quickly drops back to reveal a dry, citrusy, earthy palate with almost minty notes of background spice. An interesting interpretation and admirably rustic. It would work well with a country stew of rabbit and thick-cut bacon. No rabbit at hand? Chicken will do.
- Garrett Oliver
