Goose Island Lolita
September 16, 2016The best thing about this beer is you get it all without any one element being overwhelming. The head quickly dissipates as unripe berries, hints of pear and a barnyard funk swirl together in the air. The fruit notes carry over to the flavor but not at the expense of the delicate Belgian esters. Oak provides a nice structural element throughout, and the finish is bone-dry. A beer to be sipped and appreciated.
