Drake’s Barrel Aged Jolly Rodger (2016)

Multiple reviewers agreed this tasted a lot like the Café Latté Lollypops from See’s Candies: forward in its coffee character and impressively layered in a silky smooth package. Doesn’t land harsh or acrid in the slightest, and the barrel character adds a spicy, subtle vanilla along with touches of warmth—effortlessly supporting that rich coffee quality. Even for panelists who tend to loathe coffee beers, this one was really enjoyable.
