Double Stout Black Ale

A thin head is immediately noticeable from a pour of this thick beer, whose consistency is likely due to the Golden Naked Oats used in the mash. The stout begins with slightly burnt toffee and a significant amount of carbonation.

Though a bit viscous, the beer maintains the dry, grainy mouthfeel of the classic dry stout style. It finishes with short, light espresso and a gulp of heat not disguised by its sweetness.
