Redd’s Apple Ale Launches In Select States

By Win Bassett - September 19, 2012

ALBANY, GA – Crisp like an apple.  Brewed like an ale.  Redd’s Apple Ale is now available in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.

Redd’s Apple Ale is an apple flavored golden ale with low malty and bitterness cues.  With a crisp clean finish that allows the natural apple flavor to come through, this ale is for those times when you are looking to branch out and try something different.

“We are proud to introduce a refreshingly crisp brew that showcases the natural flavor of apples,” said Andrew Zrike, brand manager of Redd’s Apple Ale.  “By blending the flavor of apples into a golden ale, Redd’s Apple Ale is the perfect choice for the times when you want a refreshing and sweet alternative to your everyday beers.”

Redd’s Apple Ale is available in 6-pack bottles at 5 percent alcohol by volume and only 165 calories per 12 ounce bottle serving.  Learn more about and find out where it is available by visiting www.reddsappleale.com and www.facebook.com/reddsappleale.

I bought this to try it an andventure good thing I have 20 something girls.
My wife and children both girls will like it. IT DOES TASTE GOOD. THE DIFFERENCE IN TASTE BETWEEN THIS AND CIDER VETY VERY VERY LITTLE.
LETS FACE it ITS CIDER WITH LESS ALCOHOL. SO ITS LITE CIDER. AGAIN ITS DOES TASTE GOOD CRISP APPLE FLAVOR. HERES AN IDEA AN APPLE ALE BOILER MAKER. CRAP GOTTA GO TRY THAT.

Too much like a beer to be a cider, and too much like cider to be a beer. Not going to throw the rest of it away, but not likely to buy more of it, either. Basically just a beer infused with some sort of apple flavoring — can taste the malic acid, but that could be from a natural juice concetrate rather than something created ‘chemically’. See it as being like Coors Light in that it is beer for people — especially young people — who really don’t like beer.

The best beer ever. I still like Bud light but I would rather drink Redds Apple Ale, just wish it came in a lite brand but it only has 49 calories more than a can of Bud Light so it know big deal for me, so I will keep drinking Redds Apple Ale, I don’t care about 49 calories I can burn that of washing the glasses, and taking the garbage out.

I really like this beer, I have a sweet tooth. I prefer the 24oz. can which comes in at 8% ALC, I get a good buzz before getting bloated and I like that.
