Oxbow opens farmhouse rental for Maine Travelers

By Staff - June 25, 2015

(Press Release)

Newcastle, ME–Oxbow Brewing Company, the world-renowned farmhouse brewery located in midcoast Maine, is excited to announce it has begun renting out its farmhouse to travelers and beer lovers. The sunny, passive solar and open concept home is located on 18 acres and is the original home of two of Oxbow’s owners Geoff and Dash Masland.

“We love the rustic charm of this property more than any place in the world,” said Dash. “We hope vacationers will enjoy the peaceful setting and our world class beers as much as we do,” she added.

The farmhouse at Oxbow features 3 bedrooms and modern amenities such as a full kitchen and bathroom, laundry facilities and wireless internet (sheets and towels also provided). There is a deck with views of the pond, woods and brewery and a screened in porch for meals.

The farmhouse, which sleeps 9 (3 bedrooms with queen beds and a comfortable full-sized pull-out couch and futon in the living room), is available for rent by the night. The rental fee includes a $25 per night credit to use in the Tasting Room on site and curious visitors are encouraged to ask for a private tour of the brewery and property. Travelers can sample an assortment of farmhouse ales and spend time exploring the gardens and old logging roads that wind through the property.

About Oxbow Brewing Company
