A bronze/red beer with a powerful and intriguing nose, reminiscent of lead pencils and boiled vegetables. The palate is radically different—quenching, packed with juicy malt, peppery hops and quince fruit. The finish is spectacularly dry and bitter, with an iron-like hoppiness balancing fruit and malt. Get past the forbidding aroma and you’re in for a treat.

Great bouquet here. One is tempted to linger and enjoy the gentle aromatic blending of malt and hops. Although the head soon disappears, it also has a quiet and pleasing note to hear. On the palate, this distinctively hoppy malt nose blends into one’s taste buds right on cue. This beer’s character offers exactly what is promised and expected in the style. Invitation fulfilled.
