The brewery credits a strong local following for its success. “With the exception of a few festivals and special events in other cities, 100% of our sales are in Austin”, says Austin Beerworks co-founder Michael Graham. “We’re selling everything we can make within a 20 mile radius of the brewery. Austin is an amazing beer town.”

This year, the still family-owned and –operated company added brewing beer to its expertise. The newly finished brewery began brewing on Sept. 26 the first of three labels to be introduced in 2012 marking the beginning of a new era at the third-generation local business. The company will produce two additional labels next spring and summer.
