(Hood River, OR) - Pfriem Family Brewers is excited to announce beer release events and the upcoming opening of their new brewery on the Columbia River waterfront in Hood River, OR. Pfriem (pronounced “Freem”) is introducing a line of beers that features Belgian-influenced ales, including a Wit, Strong Blonde, Belgo IPA, and Strong Dark, along with two Northwest favorites, an IPA and Blonde IPA. Pfriem will also be featuring a wide range of seasonal beers and is starting a barrel-aging program for a future line of Belgian sour ales.
Pfriem’s Portland release featuring the full lineup of beers is scheduled for July 19th at Bazi Bierbrasserie from 6PM to 9PM. Pfriem will also be releasing their Northwest IPA varietals at a joint event at 10 Speed Coffee and Dirty Fingers Bike Shop on July 21st in Hood River at 6:30PM.
The Pfriem Tasting Room grand opening is scheduled for August 4th. Updates on the schedule of events will be posted on the Pfriem Family Brewers Facebook page.
Pfriem’s Brewery and Tasting Room are located across from Waterfront Park in Hood River, OR, providing breathtaking views of the Columbia and the White Salmon rivers. In addition to the full line of beers, the Tasting Room will offer a Belgian-influenced menu, made with local ingredients, designed to pair well with the beer lineup.
Pfriem Family Brewers will be distributing kegs throughout Oregon in partnership with Point Blank Distribution. Pfriem is also in the process of selecting a distribution partner in the greater-Seattle region.
