Baying Hound Aleworks Celebrates Two Years

Posted July 17, 2012 by Win Bassett

(ROCKVILLE, MD) – Fond of dogs, beer, and having fun? Not that we need any special reason for having fun around here, but the second anniversary of our award-winning ales just seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up. And we think that what we have in store will be just too good for you to pass up!

We will be celebrating our second birthday (and whoever thinks the twos are terrible has never tasted our finely crafted beer) for three—count ’em—three whole days on July 26th, 27th, and 28th because we at Baying Hound don’t believe in doing anything by halves, especially not when it comes to serving pints of our cool, refreshing summer ales.

We can’t yet divulge all the goodies that await our beer and canine-loving clientele but on the 28th we will be donating $1 from every beer you purchase to our friends at the Montgomery County Humane Society.

So come and enjoy our ales, have a chat with our friendly staff, and help our four legged friends in need. And if you need even more incentive to drop by and party with us, we will be having an opportunity drawing for a host of desirable prizes. What is an “opportunity drawing” you ask? It’s a R ___ ___ ____ ____ ___ E but Maryland regulations prohibit us from using the word so you didn’t hear it from us.

But there’s more! For those of you who enjoy putting us in our place and inflicting a little harmless humiliation and discomfort on your fellow man (and who among us doesn’t?) we will have an awesome Dunk Tank. And to make sure that you harbor absolutely no feelings of guilt while dunking deserving brewmeisters in the drink, all of the proceeds will also go the Montgomery County Humane Society.

First come, first served (but be advised that my wife has dibs on the first spot. I can’t imagine why….) Plus, the end of July is a ways away, so who knows what other entertainments our creative staff here at Baying Hound Aleworks will have devised by then.

Save the dates: July 26th, 27th, and 28th.

Save the times: noon – 10 p.m.

Drink, dunk, and feel good about it too! (And tell your friends to come on down—it’s the most fun you can have in Rockville with your clothes on. We know. We live here).
