(LOS ANGELES, CA) – Angel City Brewery is under the proud new ownership of Alchemy & Science, a boutique brewing initiative led by craft beer veteran Alan Newman. Alchemy & Science assumed control of Angel City in January 2012 and has been reviewing and revising all elements of the brewery’s plant, location, history and development plans. Angel City Brewery looks to introduce its first beer to the LA marketplace in early June.

Mother’s Brewing Has Largest Launch of New Craft Breweries in 2011

(Springfield, MO) — Mother’s Brewing Company of Springfield enjoyed the largest first-year launch of any new craft brewery in America in 2011.

According to the Brewer’s Association, which tracks calendar year sales for more than 1,400 brewery members throughout North America, 250 new craft breweries opened in 2011, the largest number since 1997. Based on these numbers, Mother’s achieved the largest launch of any new brewery since 2007 in their first calendar year of operation.

(Fort Collins, CO) – New Belgium Brewing, maker of Fat Tire Amber Ale, is ready to embrace the summer season with this year’s “Enjoy the Ride” campaign. As a follow-up to last year’s 20th Anniversary “Joy Ride” campaign where fans submitted their Fat Tire stories, this year’s Enjoy the Ride will share those stories on packaging, Point of Sale and online. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, friends of New Belgium will be able to Enjoy the Ridethrough bike giveaways, storytelling, socializing venues, social media and more.
