(Kinston, NC) - Today, Mother Earth Brewing announced that they have partnered with United Distributors, Inc. to start selling a selection of their products in the Atlanta, Georgia market. Distribution begins in early May, 2012.
The expansion of their sales territory was carefully considered, according to E. Trent Mooring, Mother Earth Brewing President. Mooring remarked, “We’ve been approached by a handful of distributors, and considered a number of territories- but we decided to hold out for the ideal opportunity. This is it.”
Release parties and other promotional events will begin on May 7, 2012, and take place at various locations in and around the Atlanta area. Initially, Endless River Kolsch and Weeping Willow Wit will be offered for sale in six-pack bottles and on draft. Sunny Haze German Style Hefeweizen and Second Wind Pale Ale will be offered in cans.
Mooring commented, “Partnering with United will expand our visibility in the South and substantially increase the number of locations customers can buy our beer. We are thrilled to be working with a top-rate distributor such as United.”
Mother Earth Brewing was founded by Stephen Hill and Trent Mooring three years ago. Soon after, they added Head Brewer, Josh D. Brewer to the team and within months, an old downtown building was repurposed into a brewery. Mother Earth Brewing began to bottle and keg their beer in October of 2009. Today, just two and a half years after production of their first batch of beer, Mother Earth Brewing counts on a team of ten people to keep up with production. Mother Earth Brewing enjoys over 1,500 accounts, and can be found in bars, restaurants, supermarkets and specialty stores across the state of North Carolina.
Mother Earth Brewery is a 40 barrel craft brewery that bottles and kegs beer for sale in its Kinston, NC Taproom, and for distribution in bars, restaurants and retail locations throughout North Carolina and Georgia.
