That is to bad they sold out. I will not be buying Goose Island anymore. They made some pretty good beer. From craft beer to crap beer.
I was wondering when the big boys were going to start gobbling up theses upstarts. Make good beer? How dare they!
Big labels. Bad for music, even worse for beer.
Don’t give up or stop drinking Goose Island. I work for Hensley the #1 distributor in the country for Anheuser-Busch and can assure you that nothing has changed for Goose Island. It was all part of the contract, that they would keep brewing beer the same way. I was actually looking forward to more beer coming into my state but was informed that will not be happening because Goose Island with the same company objective. So don’t give up and keep enjoying quality beer, and be happy for the brewers/owners that do not have to worry about the bottom line anymore but simply making beer that they enjoy!
