Arcadia to Release B-Craft Black Double IPA

Posted April 3, 2012 by Win Bassett

(Battle Creek, MI) – The “Cereal City” isn’t just for breakfast anymore. Arcadia Brewing Company of Battle Creek will release B-Craft Black, a Double IPA or Cascadian Ale on Tuesday, April 17th (Tax Day).

Combining the best malt on the planet with an overly generous amount of hops, this Black beer, at 8.5% alcohol by volume is just the tonic for those folks that need relief from their annual tax day woes. The brewery, describes this increasingly popular style of beer as, “Massive in every way, B-Craft delivers a complex bundle of flavors with a citrus hop aroma strong enough to make a billy goat shake his head. Moving past the huge hop aroma, rich and roasted malt flavors of chocolate and coffee move forward only to be checked by an impressive hop bitterness. Texture and flavor dance together so seamlessly that you may need to remind yourself that while this beer slides down like a session, it delivers like an assassin!”

B-Craft Black will be available on draft and sold in retail stores in 12 oz bottles (4-Packs).

Arcadia Brewing Company was established in 1996 as a purveyor of Handcrafted Artisanal Ales and Wood-Fired Cuisine in Downtown Battle Creek, Michigan, and is distributed widely throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.
