Fuller’s, London’s only traditional brewery, has announced the launch of Past Masters XX Strong Ale. The beer is the first in a series of brews created using a recipe from the brewery’s past. The beer is 7.5 percent, is made with a long-forgotten malt (Plumage Archer) and is bottle conditioned in 500ml bottles.
That’s great news. Fuller’s high end bottled beers are almost outstanding (1845, Vintage Ale, and particularly the awesome Brewer’s Reserve). I can’t wait to try this one. Hopefully they will also have a special glass.
