Loser Pale Ale was originally brewed to celebrate Sub Pop Record‘s 20th Anniversary and now is a summer seasonal from Elysian Brewing Company. The beer pours amber with notes of wet dog and root vegetable with a thin head/some small lacing – both of which dissipate quickly. A strong malty backbone and crisp carbonation makes this beer scream, “pale ale.” Finishes with a dull, caramel fade.
