Beer of the Week

Decadent Imperial IPA

Posted December 3, 2009 by Greg Barbera

Coming in a 22 ounce, red wax dipped bottle, Ska Brewing’s Decadent Imperial IPA beer pours amber with gooey, resinous notes right off the top of the head.

The bitter hops will hit the uninitiated pretty hard but seasoned hop heads like myself will thoroughly enjoy the assault on your palate. Traces of a slight caramel maltiness can be found beneath all those IBUs. At 10 percent ABV, you might say it’s “delicately” quaffable. I love this beer and the bottle is comes in; I turn to it often. But it is not for the faint of heart.

I love this beer also. If it is on tap I will drink it everytime! This is one of the best beers SKA brews! Just shows how good these folks are at brewing great beers!!
