The Ultimate Beer Tasting: VIP at the World Beer Festival

All About Beer Magazine - Volume , Issue
March 23, 2015
Daniel Bradford

Throughout its history the World Beer Festival has provided beer lovers with opportunities to expand their palates, appreciation and horizons of the great fermented beverage. Our festivals began in the early 1990s with a collection of specialty beer all under one tent. By gathering these pioneering and historic breweries together, the early attendees were able to try a wide range of beers they loved or might never have experienced before.

Soon after, we added the VIP section for enthusiasts seeking something different. Under that tent we really pulled out the stops combining event comfort with some serious beer exploration opportunities. Our staff gathers rare and hard-to-get beers (ones usually tucked away, waiting for that special occasion) just for the VIPs, and we’ve created a relaxing lounge environment with a designated comfort station and a catered spread to enhance the sampling experience. This is the ultimate beer adventure.

Continuing with our mission, the next addition to the World Beer Festival was the Art of Beer Experience. A multifaceted station, the Art of Beer encompasses food and beer pairings, cask ale, ingredients, homebrewing and seminars on beer-related topics.

This is the year we are taking the VIP experience to a new level. In addition to the special gifts and the other goodies ticket holders receive, the VIP area will move indoors, into a more intimate space, in the brand new 214 Martin Street Building. We also include a specially catered spread to enhance the sampling experience. VIPs will enjoy an upscale beer-themed buffet, while they sip on beers they may not find anywhere else.

Throughout the years the world of the VIP has been our cutting edge in beer education. It is easy to understand why many VIPs don’t even leave their area during the festival.  The limited number of tickets available sell fast.  Come see our latest work and enjoy the festival through different eyes.

    Hi Daniel,

The VIP experience at the world beer festival really does look fantastic. I only wish I lived closer so I could actually go.

I particularly like the food and beer pairings and being able to try out new beers. I’ve just started a new blog myself about how to brew beer as it’s a passion of mine. I’ve started off with a brief overview of the types of beer as I know it can be confusing for a lot of people. If you’d like to take a look you can find me here: http://howtobrewbeerguide.com

    Thanks,
    Phil
