Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin
September 18, 2012 Notes of pumpkin (pulp and pith), vanilla, caramel and hints of crème brûlée. A big, brawny beer (unassumingly boozy at 10.31 % despite being aged in oak for six months), Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin is definitely not a "pie in a bottle" kind of beer. It has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a molasses and dark Karo syrup-accentuated finish. A beer more a kin to representing Halloween and its bag o' treats than a bountiful fall harvest. -->This limited, seasonal offering from Uinta Brewing’s Crooked Line series pours a deep ruby (almost red velvet) with a big, thick white head that slowly dissipates. I had this beer last week in Las Vegas and I was blown away. I’m not a fan usually of pumpkin or beers with fruit additives but the texture and taste of this beer was nothing short of spectacular. If you can find it buy multiple bottles. It’s that good!
I bought one for a birthday gift and was lucky enough to try it. It is the best pumpkin beer ive ever had and I try alot of the during the season. tried it in sep. of 2012.
