Pale gold lager from Nicaragua, with a ripe corn and toasted malt aroma that suggests a correct European decoction mash. Rich grain in the mouth is balanced by a “noble hop” grassy and herbal note, while the finish is a fine balance between malt and hop bitterness. An excellent interpretation of traditional Pilsner-style lager.

This beer presents a talkative head with a refreshing nose, and very little color. It is a nice refreshing session beer, similar to other good Central American lagers. A good thirst quencher.

People could drink this beer on a very hot day to quench their thirst — or perhaps when eating very spicy food, to douse the flames. But I think that the craft beer enthusiast who drinks this beer will find themselves wanting more. There’s a very faint hop aroma and a thin body, with a lightly dry, crisp finish. The beer is named after a Latina girl. I’ll bet she fits into a Size 0.
