Type of Beer: Imperial rye ale

ABV: 7.2%

There is no questioning this beer is chock full of rye. A deep orange, it sits in the glass spewing forth a potent aroma of black pepper, molasses and anise.  My taste buds are firing on all cylinders pulling out flavors of root beer, damp grass and a bit of lemon zest. The rye greets you as you pick up the glass and remains long after you swallow. Bone dry, spicy and lingering finish. If you are a fan of rye, this one will likely find its way to the top of your list in no time.
