Brewed to celebrate the brewery’s eighth anniversary, it’s like they gave us a present rather than the other way around. It’s big. Sweet, salty and umami all in one. Flavors of burnt sugar, oak, vanilla and a hint of dark fruit. The alcohol content is well-masked. Every aspect of this beer is beautiful, from its sultry dark appearance to how the wet bourbon barrel traits perfectly mesh with sweet artisan chocolate. Hooray for this beer!
