This turbid golden unfiltered Hefeweizen is a looker with a beautiful nose, all tutti-frutti, clove and vanilla, with bubble gum smells reminiscent of the last picture show. With a voluptuous body, the mouthfeel is sensual with the floral notes making beautiful country music with the biscuity flavor of malt and wheat. Clean finish! No lemon slice needed here, there is such a pleasant, fruity flavor. Recommended with spinach salad dressed with a mixture of red wine and balsamic vinegar and camelina oil, date-nut bread (the same beer can be used in the baking) and oven-roasted rosemary rabbit with crispy roti. A keeper!

Powerful banana fruity aroma pops out of the glass, inviting further consideration. Slightly acidic character is distinctive, not mirroring traditional Bavarian character. Complex combination of many fermentation flavors. Hop bitterness is a bit on the high side for this style of brew.
