Rail Slide Imperial Spiced Ale

November 15, 2013
- Chris Rice

Rail Slide Imperial Spiced Ale

San Tan Brewing Co.

Chandler, AZ

Style: Spiced Ale

ABV: 7.1%

Review: Rail Slide Imperial Spiced Ale has a deep red color with a light head. It pours like a Sasparilla, with English hops (potentially) and licorice on the nose. It smells like an English brown ale after the spice. Malty and deep caramel on the palate, the spice is mild yet picks up on the finish with a nice dryness that resembles an English brown as well. With a sharp spice finish that cuts the dryness of the hops, Rail Slide Imperial Spiced Ale is a nice beer for fall and winter.
