Style: Lager

ABV: 5.3

Apperance: Clear and bronze with a relatively thin white head.

Aroma: Lightly sweet cereal grains, lemony citrus.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, rounded carbonation.

Taste: A lager with some bite. There is a hint of toasted caramel, but mostly the hops are allowed to roam free, offering up a spicy bite and a beer that finishes dry.

Overall Impression: This brewery has some of the more recognizable bottles on the shelves. With a neck label showing just a pair of eyes (think a peephole at a speakeasy bar) they follow you from the fridge to the counter to the recycling bin. But, it’s the body label that really drew me in. An art deco affair, with metropolitan skyline some artists in the 1920s thought would look futuristic. With bold lines and subtle details, this is art on a label and after this one is tossed, I’ll have five more opportunities to admire it again.
