Damned good Cuppa Joe, in beery form! What a head! A photographers dream! Combined with ebony tones, this is a good introduction to a round, roasted, rich brew, an example of the brewer’s art. We relished it with our own foraged coral mushrooms, and buttered winter vegetables over pork fried rice.

Pours dead-on thick like a coffee shake. Using duck slippers you could walk on this brew. Delirious roast coffee character abounds in aroma and flavor. Yet body is perceived as surprisingly medium-light in mouthfeel. Very curious set up. Hop and coffee bitterness well balanced. It’s all about the coffee. Tastefully accomplished. Lacking on label is any indication of ABV: that I’d like to know before indulging. ’Tis no pedestrian beer. Deeelicious. Make mine with cake.
