Cute name appeals to the hopheads among us. The nose (herbal and intense) and palate (malty and balanced) don’t disappoint. Dense tan head contrasts a bright deep golden robe with ruby highlights. The full-finish is without bitterness making this a fine beer for food. The hoppy aroma and malty palate were perfect with a homemade vegetable soup of celery, onion, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, tomato, spinach, red pepper, chili and leek, all seasoned with chopped artisan soprassata.

Sunset hue of orange and amber infused with what may be hopped haze. Welcome aroma of sweet malt and sweet-floral hops. Very inviting. Flavor balance is smooth and a noble choice for compelled hop heads. Drinkable and balanced—yes it is. Nice malt foundation endorsing my particular inclinations for balanced hoppy pale ale. Creative and terrific hop flavors are convincing and multi-dimensional.
