Fort Collins Oktoberfest
September 16, 2016A deep but bright orange German-style lager. As the head calms, sweet wisps of caramel and butterscotch swirl around the glass. Just a hint of sulfur. This one’s rich and crisp at the same time. Initially the caramel and toffee coat the tongue, but as those flavors intensify, a spiciness from the yeast emerges. This is creamy, and the flavors linger on amid the lager crispness.
