Flights: Dialogue Brewing in Albuquerque, New Mexico
November 1, 2017Dialogue Brewing (1501 1st St. NW) opened its doors in Albuquerque’s Wells Park neighborhood in September of 2016. Its unique blend of industrial minimalism and earthy architectural accents creates a bizarre space that is starkly alien and yet surprisingly welcoming. Outside, six towering rebar sculptures provide seating and support surrealistic metal fronds high above the intimate patio. Under the 1920s warehouse’s bowstring roof, fermenters divide the production area from the taproom. Although the space holds modern conveniences like USB ports, light projection menus and a Crowler sealing machine, televisions have been conspicuously omitted in hopes people will engage in a dialogue of their own. Ten of the 13 beers on tap rotate seasonally, and a flight of five is $8.–Efraín Villa
