Like this beer. I’m from Oklahoma, which is not exactly known for great beer. Will Rogers said “people there stumbled to the polls to vote dry.” Prohibition was repealed in 1959, and Oklahoma beers have had nowhere to go but up since. Prairie Bomb is up there at the top—creative, balanced and delicious. The nose, like an artisan coffee liqueur, is contemplative. The opaque color is deepest brown with a gorgeous nut brown head. Luscious and spicy, with a rich and luxurious mouthfeel. Stupendous with a myriad of foods.

Holy smokes. This one is a chocolate bomb, vanilla bomb, coffee bomb but a chile fizzle. It pours like a liqueur at 14%. Terrific balance of flavors with bitterness of cocoa and coffee offsetting sumptuous sweetness. Hop character may be there, but who cares? Serve this one after dinner and you’ll be sure to continue the beer conversation into the evening. Surely perfect for warm gentle evenings or frigidly cold nights. This wasn’t cheap to make I can assure you! More chile, please.
