Sebago Brewing Releases Late Winter Seasonal Beer, Full Throttle Double IPA

Gorham, Maine – Sebago Brewing Company is pleased to announce that they are releasing their highly anticipated late-winter seasonal beer, Full Throttle Double IPA on March 2nd, 2012.

Full Throttle is a medium bodied, unfiltered deep amber ale with an abundance of citrusy, piney flavors and aromas. Full Throttle Double IPA is dominated by Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Falconer’s Flight hops.

Full Throttle Double IPA is a late-winter seasonal beer, available beginning March 2nd on draft and in 4-packs at all Sebago Brewing Company locations as well as at better bars, restaurants, and beer stores throughout New England, including Vermont.

The next beer release by Sebago Brewing Company will be the spring and summer seasonal beer, Hefeweizen, available in April 27, 2012 on draft, in kegs and in 6-packs throughout New England.

Color: Golden Orange 16.3 SRM
ABV: 8.2%

Appearance: Cloudy golden orange, moderate carbonation
Aroma: Pine, Grapefruit, & Citrus
Flavor: Medium body with intense hop flavor & aroma
Hops: Cascade, Centenntial, Chinook, & Falconer’s Flight
Malts: American 2-Row, Caramel 40L, Caramel 60L, Caramel 80L
Pairing Suggestions: Spicy appetizers, vinaigrettes, cheese
Full Throttle Double IPA (8.2% ABV) was originally brewed as one of Sebago Brewing Company’s Single Batch Series beers in 2007. The rave reviews and immense popularity of the beer led to its offering as a yearly seasonal beer in 2009.
