Newcastle Debuts Four New Limited Edition Brews

By Greg Barbera - April 14, 2011

Newcastle Brown Ale has announced the debut of four new limited beers to their line. The new line is a result of a collaboration between Newcastle (England) and Caledonian (Scotland). The new beers are Summer Ale, Werewolf (fall ale with beery undertones), Winter IPA and Founder’s Ale (traditional bitter). The beers will be available in select markets nationwide in 6- and 12-pack bottles.

Are they available in San Diego and who is distributing them… Crest (who distribute Newcastle in San Diego) are oblivious to the new releases which should come as no surprise since they are a trucking company not a quality beer distributor.

Sadly, Texas has bad rules at just about everything. They seem to relish continuing to be mired in the 19th century.

I found Summer Ale and Werewolf at the local Meijer today in Kentucky, they will probably stock the other ones in the appropriate seasons, seeing as its August.

Tried the Summer Ale. It was good but I like my beer pretty dark. I know strange for a chick. I saw the packaging and it’s pretty cool for the Werewolf. So looking forward to it and the other 2. It’s like Xmas early. So excited.
