Mims Distributing Celebrates 10 Years with Yuengling

By Win Bassett - November 26, 2012

RALEIGH, NC – Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, is celebrating its 10th anniversary of bringing America’s oldest brewery, Yuengling, to central North Carolina. Established in Pennsylvania in 1829, Yuengling is the largest American-owned brewery, based on recent sales. Despite overwhelming demand, the regional brewery serves only 15 states exclusively, having made its transition into central North Carolina in 2002 with Mims.

Probably most well-known for its traditional lager, Yuengling’s product line includes a light lager, black and tan, premium, porter, Oktoberfest and bock. For more information on Yuengling, visit http://www.yuengling.com.

QUOTES:
“We are so proud and honored to have distributed Yuengling, ‘America’s Oldest Brewery,’ to central North Carolina for more than a decade,” said Chip Mims, CEO. “This family-owned and operated brewery is an American legend built on a heritage of producing amazing beer, and we hope to help them serve North Carolina for decades to come.”
