GoodLife Brewing to Release Scottish Heart Scotch Ale

By Win Bassett - November 26, 2012

BEND, OR – GoodLife Brewing is proud to release Scottish Heart Scotch Ale at Horse Brass Pub for the 2nd straight year.  This caramelized, malt forward Scotch Ale is brewed once a year in honor of St. Andrews Day, which is the National Day of Scotland.

The grain profile of the beer is a special blend of English malts that produce toffee and caramel flavors and a deep copper color that is balanced with traditional Noble hops.  At 8%, Scottish Heart will surely make many people in town happy.

Join GoodLife’s Head Brewer, Curt Plants, and the rest of the team on Thursday, November 29th, starting at 6pm, for your chance to try the 2012 batch of Scottish Heart.  To make the event more special, we are also pouring one of the last kegs of the 2011 Scottish Heart, which will be the first vertical flight GoodLife has ever done.

Scottish Heart will be available in both 1/6bbls and 1/2bbls for distribution.

Aye, cheers to all the Scots…it is you who inspire us to make this beer.
