By Greg Barbera - March 3, 2011

Firestone Walker Brewing Company announced the release of their barley wine Abacus today. The beer is aged 14 months in wine, spirit and beer barrels. Brewmaster Matt Brynildson says, “Abacus is the most elegant of the beers that we produce in our barrel-aged program.” It is available in limited release in 22oz bottles and on draft in select locations. Only 1500 cases of this vintage beer will be produced in 2011.
