Coastal Wheat New Addition To Samuel Adams Portfolio

By Gregg Glaser - October 12, 2009

The new year-round addition to the Sam Adams portfolio is Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat (5.3%), a twist on the German hefeweizen style. It’s an unfiltered beer brewed with Eureka and Lisbon varieties of lemon from three different growing regions in California.

The new Samuel Adams Harvest Collection fall variety 12-pack includes Boston Lager, OctoberFest, Cherry Wheat, Irish Red, Brown Ale and the new Samuel Adams Dunkelweizen (4.9%). This new, unfiltered ale is brewed with traditional Bavarian weissbier yeast, wheat, caramel 60 and Weyermann carafa malts and hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops.
