Ale from Argentina — the beer world really is changing. The dark bronze color heralds a big aroma of spicy hops and sultana fruit, with hints of roast and chocolate. Sweet malt coats the tongue and the dark, burnt fruit note is luscious and slightly cloying. The hops build in the finish and counter the sweet malt and fruit character and the beer ends dry and quenching. It would make an excellent dessert beer or a companion for creamy cheese.

More pale amber than red, this beer pours slightly hazy with a thin white head. The aroma shows apricots and minty hop notes. The palate is surprisingly sweet, with broad, brassy hopping pulling the beer into balance for the finish. The aftertaste is bready and malty. Perfectly pleasant, and a good partner for roast chicken.
