Chewy, delicious beer that’s born for haute cuisine. Romantic garnet color is brilliant and bright, pleasing to the eye. So is the tinted, luxurious head, like a soft fur coat on a beautiful woman. The palate is complex and sensual with a deep, delicious, French bread-like flavor. There is beaucoup fruit and just enough herbal complexity to give the beer a dry balance. The finish is clean and satisfying. Drink it with soupe à l’oignon, croque-monsieur, and through dessert, with an organic pear tarte tartin. Très, très bon.

Copper-amber with a rich, earthy aroma of wet, sweet malt and caramel. First flavor impressions greet the senses as full and sweet, but a gentle herbal hop flavor slowly evolves to balance the experience pleasantly. Wonderfully, what the label claims is exactly what you get―and more. Clean and phat! With good drinkability. It’s almost toffee-like finish beckons another―and another.

Polished amber in color, with a collar of tightly beaded foam, the beer has a fascinating and complex aroma of gently roasted grain, aromatic hops and glacé fruit. The hops come bursting through on the tongue, vying for attention with juicy malt. The finish is long and well balanced, with warm toasted grain, bitter hops, and tart, spicy fruit. A splendid companion for smoked dishes, blue cheese or flammekueches, the thin-based pizzas of French Flanders. Santé!
