The area is ideal for riders of all levels and boasts 99 percent singletrack. If tackling the entire 142-mile Kokopelli trail is over the top, the Tabeguache Trail System is equally popular. Snazzy said many of the rides are called lunch loops because people spend their lunch breaks on them. If you’re looking for backcountry desert riding, there’s Rabbit Valley and if more lush views are your thing, several trails skirt the Colorado River. On the North Fruita Desert/18 Road system, make sure you try the fun rides such as Zippety-do-da and Chutes and Ladders.
