Devils Backbone Brewing Co.
Adventure Pack
The Devils Backbone Adventure Pack that will be on shelves from July to September was dreamed up by employees of the brewery—including cooks, packagers and more—in partnership with brewers. Five beers from those collaborations will appear in 12-ounce bottles alongside Vienna Lager in this variety 12-pack: Apple-achian Pie Stout, a stout brewed with spices and molasses; Ale of Two Cities, a kölsch-style ale; Tropical Thunder, a kristal-weizen made with pineapple juice; Hot Shots IPA, an IPA made with jalapeños; and Space Fruit Pale Ale, which is made with New World hops.
Fort Collins Brewery
Peaches & Barley
7.5 % | Peach Saison
Bursting with the flavors of peaches, apricots, ginger, black pepper and orange peel, and with a relatively dry finish, this beer gets much of its character from the traditional saison yeast used in its construction. The beer will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft.
Heavy Seas Beer
Treasure Fest
6 % | Oktoberfest Lager
A traditional Oktoberfest lager (available in summer, yes), Treasure Fest is brewed with imported German malts and a mix of German and American hops for a distinct edge. Available on draft and six-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
Atlas Rebrands as Burnt City, Releases New Beers
Chicago’s Atlas Brewing Co. is rebranding itself as Burnt City Brewing.
Brewers John and Ben Saller have been working extensively on brews that will spearhead this relaunch, which include Face Melter Hibiscus IPA, Dick the Butcher Pale Ale and Balloon Boy Farmhouse Wheat Ale. All will be available in cans.
Former Atlas beers will be adapted into Burnt City’s lineup, and the former brewery and brewpub locations in Chicago’s South Side and Lincoln Park will remain the same.
